Generation Hiphop

Hiphop music has not been the same since the 90s...thats totally my opinion and that of the many people who grew up during those years but the question is, was it really the case or was it just a period in time when the fortunate ones who grew up during those years became astounded by the new flow of creativity in and around this type of music.

The generation before that boasted of how music was also much better during their time, with that been said, seems to me that is just merely a generational thing similar to the latter.
No matter how good something is there are unlimited ways by which the creative mind can change it either for the better or to have a different feel to it.
Fast forward to the present, hiphop is like the mother almost out of popularity after giving birth to slightly different genres from what it originally was and it is understandingly due to its dynamic nature summing up the expression "art is cannot be stagnant". Many years from now the generation growing to these type of music will also speak proudly on how good they had it.

Finally, your love and liking for a kind of music is relative mainly to the fact that it is what you accustom yourself to, this might all be due to the relentless bombardment of that sound on the airwaves then becoming infectious until it cannot be contained, consuming a whole generation until theres no more for it survive.....then it adapts.

On my rivals the link below is a hip hop track performed by A.K.O.M. done with the same flavour of the 1990s, the delivering is hard hitting with lyrics addressing opposition and questioning the skills of lyricists. It has a subtle energy and very catchy chorus, it is welcomed by both new generation and the generation before that to be having a good feel to it.

Please share if you love it like I do.
